Bible Mission International in Moldova recently distributed aid donated from OGT’s Wisconsin Branch in Westfield. Many stories of gratitude were shared with us and here is one of those stories. Thank you, donors for making a difference. Praise be to God!
Peace be upon you, dear brothers and sisters in Christ!
My name is Galina. My mother’s name is Rabeja Liuba. It has been 6 years since that moment when Mom woke up and could not move her legs and could not stand on them.
When my husband and I brought her to the doctor to find out what the reason was, and the doctor explained that she suffers from peripheral neuropathy. This causes damage to nerves located outside the brain and spinal cord that causes weakness, numbness, and pain in the hands and feet. But it also affected the functions of the legs. I couldn’t believe it, because my mother worked hard all her life, and now she was confined to her bed. It was the most difficult news for me as a daughter. After 6 years, her state of health worsens, as she has muscle atrophy. From the beginning, she could hold something in her hands, a cup of water or a bun, but now she is not able to hold anything. I feed her and change diapers every day. Only God gives me strength and encouragement to move forward. Thank you for your help. It is very important to us.
