Recently George Stebbins, a disabled American Veteran from Vietnam Era was in need of a wheelchair lift that hooks up to a hitch on a vehicle. Maryland Branch’s medical closet was able to help him with a lift. He is pictured here with Steve Zahn, who oversees Maryland’s Medical Walk Out Program. In George’s words: “I was in need of medical supplies and after searching to the point of exhaustion with limited funds came across this organization online. I cannot begin to express my appreciation for the unselfish, Love and compassion for others I found. For the first time in many years my faith in mankind has been restored.
