2 Shipments Delivered to Kentucky


Volunteers for OGT’s New England Branch in Terryville, CT. delivered 2 loads of needed items to the Appalachian Mountains of Kentucky. The first shipment was sent to the Christian Appalachian Project (CAP) which aids those less fortunate over a 12-state area and is headquartered in Kentucky. Partnering on this shipment was the Maryland Branch of OGT which filled the other half of a 53-foot container. The second shipment went to Manna from Heaven, a local Mission in Kentucky that provides food, clothing, medical items and other needed supplies to families in need due to the shutdown of the coal industry. Included were an estimated 9,000 pounds of food to assist with the feeding program they provide. Also on the shipment were 2 Electric wheelchairs, many toys, games and infant supplies.
