How
Your Gift Can "Sponsor A Box"
In 1992 we met people in Eastern Europe who had
not heard a good word in a good long while. They asked for our
help, and by the grace of God and generous contributions we were
able to do so. Since then Orphan Grain Train has shipped more
than 1,000 semi-loads of boxed clothing, food and medicine to more
than 40 countries and numerous American disaster areas. Orphan
Grain Train ships most relief supplies in volunteer-packed, hand-taped
and sealed apple boxes or similar boxes.
Each box of charitable relief
costs an average of $7.00 to sort, pack, and ship overseas. Thus
a gift of $7.00 will ship a box full of help and hope from
our warehouses to where most needed in the world.
You can have a "Sponsor a Box" promotion in your church
or club to collect donations for Orphan Grain Train. Use plastic
film canisters (available for free from photo processing stores)
to collect quarters. One film canister will hold 28 quarters - $7.00.
You can also order canisters from Orphan Grain Train's International
Office.
"May We Count On You" brochures are available
from the International Office as well. Our warehouses are filled with desperately
needed clothing and supplies. Your $7.00 contribution will move
a box of relief supplies where it is most needed.

Contributions may also be made online here.
Donations sent to Orphan Grain Train are tax-deductible in the
United States. Any contributions to this fund above and beyond the annual costs of Orphan Grain Train's shipping expense will be applied to other Orphan Grain Train outreach programs.
