Global Care Packages through Lutheran Hour Ministries and Orphan Grain Train

Orphan Grain Train has partnered with Lutheran Hour Ministries to bring the joy of Global Care Packages around the world for the past 14 years.

The recipient country for 2007 was India, specifically the tsunami-affected families in the South. Starting in 2008, Global Care Packages will be used in more than one country each year, and the opportunity to participate will be year-round! Also new for 2008 is a switch from cardboard boxes to green drawstring bags.

Lutheran Hour Ministries makes arrangements for each year's Global Care Packages and provides materials from its offices in St. Louis, Missouri. Orphan Grain Train collects the completed kits and arranges transportation for their overseas destination.
