OGT receives plea for help
Suzanne Leffers on 07/07/2015
Earlier this summer the border town of Acuna in the state of Coahuila, Mexico was hit by a tornado. There was significant loss of life and property and Orphan Grain Train received a desperate plea for food and water. OGT loaded a semi-trailer with 11 pallets of food, 288 cases of bottled water and 9,000 pounds of edible beans and dispatched it as quickly as possible. The supplies will arrive at Cornerstone Children’s Ranch in nearby Quemado, TX on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 where the trailer will be unloaded. Our dedicated volunteer helpers at Cornerstone will deliver the supplies promptly.
