OGT's first shipment to Nepal

Orphan Grain Train’s first shipment of food to Nepal has made it! Praise the Lord! After hours in customs, our recipient, First Love Nepal, was able to receive the 65 boxes of rice meals donated by Midwest Food Bank. They plan to feed some of the desperate, hurting families in the village of Kothok, which was severely damaged by the earthquake. The food was air transported from Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport to Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu. The picture is of the food packaged for air transportation. Another shipment of food, medical and relief supplies is scheduled to be loaded at the Norfolk warehouse in June.
