The passing of a dedicated volunteer

Many at Orphan Grain Train are deeply saddened by the passing of Melvin H. Warneke on March 31, 2015. He was involved with OGT since the beginning in 1992. Melvin was one of the original Board of Directors and served for 14 years. He also volunteered his time to pick up donated medical equipment and other supplies throughout the US. He was a master packer and teacher of humanitarian containers that shipped overseas. He made numerous domestic mission trips to New Mexico and the Texas border. Melvin was a true servant of the Lord. His wife Ardith, also was a dedicated volunteer and is currently an active member of the Advisory Board for Orphan Grain Train, survives him. Our prayers and thoughts are with Ardith and the family during this difficult time.
