Orphan Grain Train’s mobile chapel is nearly complete and has moved to its temporary resting place in Pilger, NE. St. John’s Lutheran Church will use the mobile chapel until they rebuild their church building which was destroyed by a tornado in June. The mobile chapel will seat 70 to 100 people and has a restroom. It will have its first church service this weekend with a dedication at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 7. Orphan Grain Train is excited and proud to be able to give people a place to gather and worship in a time of such destruction and sadness. Lutheran Church Missouri Synod Disaster Response division gave a grant to Orphan Grain Train to help with the funding of the mobile chapel.
