A container of medical equipment and supplies, building materials, clothes and tools weighing 36,140 lbs. was shipped from Iowa West Division to Jos, Nigeria on Oct. 6th, 2005. The Lutheran Church of Nigeria received the supplies.
This shipping container was delivered to a Lutheran compound in Jos, Nigeria in May 2003. It is seen here being used for storage after its contents were distributed.
This container arrived in June 2002, and was converted into a building once empty.
