Ethiopia
In 1996, Orphan Grain Train made several shipments of relief supplies to Ethiopia.
Nearly 18,000 of Lutheran Hour Ministries’ “By Kids For Kids” school kits were sent to Addis Ababa. The kits were distributed to eight government schools, two public schools, three church schools, one mission school, one mosque school, one school for the deaf and one orphanage.
At the same time, two 40-ft. containers of medical equipment were sent from Norfolk to a hospital in Mekele.
