Cedar Rapids, Iowa, area Lutheran Churches Sponsor a "Give Away Day."
New plumbing fixture and clean-up supplies for flood recovery efforts at Cedar Rapids, Iowa, will be brought to the event by Orphan Grain Train. The supplies will be delivered to the gymnasium parking lot at Trinity Lutheran School in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
This is the Orphan Grain Train 48-foot storage container filled with flood recovery supplies that will be distributed on Saturday, September 27 from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran School in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
The semi load of donations comes from LCMS World Relief and Orphan Grain Train. The 48-foot storage unit will be kept at Trinity until all the supplies are distributed.

Your "in-kind" donation for the "Give Away Day" should be brought to Trinity Lutheran School Friday, Sept. 26 between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Larger items may also be brought to the gym on Saturday. (If anyone has large furniture items there is a "Furniture Exchange" bulletin board at Trinity Lutheran Church to post pictures and contact information so that families in need can contact the donors directly and avoid hauling items to and from Trinity.)
