Ohio flood response
Aug. 29, 2007 - Orphan Grain Train's Ohio Regional Division and Indiana Regional Division are responding to the recent flooding in Ohio, in coordination with Lutheran Disaster Response, Lutheran Social Services of Ohio and the Ohio United Church of Christ.
Ohio Regional Division will be collecting the items listed below on two weekends and at two collection sites, as follows:
Times:
Saturday and Sunday Sept. 1 & 2 from noon until 3:00 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday Sept. 8 & 9 from noon until 3:00 p.m.

St. John UCC Rt. 108 north of Holgate, OH
St. Paul Lutheran Church on Glenwood Ave. – Napoleon, OH

All types of personal hygiene products
Cleaning supplies:
Bleach
Buckets
Mops
Rubber Gloves
Surgical Masks
Non-perishable food items
Can Openers
Kitchen Utensils
Food storage containers
Plastic Containers
Bottled Water
Blankets
Pillows
Diapers
Delivery to affected areas is scheduled for the 2nd and 9th.
Indiana Regional Division is collecting "scrub buckets" for use in flood cleanup in Findlay, Ohio. Delivery is scheduled for the 8th of September. To learn how you can help, please contact Gene Wint at (812) 526-2662.
